Matthew and Luzio’s Wedding at Coombe Abbey

Civil partnership wedding photography – Coventry – The lovely Matthew and Luzio in the summer of 2020. A smaller then planned wedding with 25 of their guests as we were under Covid restrictions. We were well used to wearing masks by now, so it wasn’t a big deal having the guests wearing masks for the ceremony. It will certainly be one to remember.

I covered some preparations for both Matthew and then Luzio in the beautiful Lady Craven featured room at Coombe Abbey on the morning of their wedding. Matthew prepared first to ensure they didn’t see each other. as is tradition.

The ceremony took place in the stunning Cloisters room before drinks and photos on the west terrace, overlooking the gardens. Matthew and Luzio were a joy to photograph and were so relaxed in front of the camera. They had so much fun with their guests who had travelled from far, with some from Luzio’s native Brazil.

There is so much to consider when planning your special day. Once you have booked your venue, it’s important to search for key suppliers. Under the current circumstance there may be restrictions on meeting up so I offer Zoom/Skype video calls if more convenient.
