Crockwell Farm Wedding Photographer – Jodie and James chose the lovely Crockwell Farm wedding venue for their celebrations after deciding on a local church for the ceremony. I’ve photographed here many times since 2007 and was great to be back for this large autumn wedding.
The wedding morning started at Crockwell with photos in the make-up room for bride Jodie with her bridesmaids, as guests arrived at Crockwell ready to climb aboard the wedding bus to the beautiful local church in Blakesley. I had my second shooter Rich, photograph the guys in the morning at Helidon Lakes hotel before heading over to the church.
After an emotional ceremony the couple headed back to Crockwell on a classic double decker bus to begin the celebrations. A large champagne reception with canapes were enjoyed by all. I quickly covered some family group photos and some special bride and groom shots as the sun began to set. Crockwell Farm Wedding Photographer
Guests were soon seated for the wedding breakfast with the room looking stunning as you will see in the photos. The wedding breakfast which started with some beautiful and heartfelt speeches after which the entertainment really stepped up, aided by baby Guinness shots!
Guests were treated to a mouth watering menu, including pan fried scallops followed by 10 hour slow roasted blade of beef, expertly executed by Ross and Ross catering team. Wishing to keep the energy flowing from beginning to end, Jodie and James flew their favourite band all the way from Portugal who played at the church, throughout the meal and into the night. The atmosphere was truly electric as I captured guests dancing throughout the day and night.
As evening drew in, it was time for the all important first dance but not before a very special father daughter dance. Guests were soon outdoors for some fresh air with sparklers and fireworks lighting up the sky. I captured some special night shots with the trees lit up at night of Jodie and James who were so up for some beautiful photos. The drinks and dancing flowed freely as guests partied the night away and I soon said my goodbyes.
It was a pleasure to photograph Jodie and James special day and what a day it was!
