Shannen and Aron’s wedding day at the Woodlands, Hothorpe Hall

The Woodlands Wedding Photographer – Situated on the border of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, the Woodlands is a secluded wedding venue surrounded by tranquil forest. It was a pleasure to photograph Shannen and Aron’s big day. I’d provided some corporate photography for Shannen some years prior, so it was lovely to be asked to cover her special day.

Shannen prepared at home with her bridesmaids and family before we then headed over to the Woodlands for final preparations. I later caught up with Aron and his groomsmen once they arrived.

A beautiful day allowed for their dreams of an outdoor wedding ceremony in the wooded area which was dressed was lovely flowers. A lovely intimate wedding allowed me to capture lots of lovely natural shots.

The guests enjoyed the outdoors with the drinks, and sunshine. I covered some family photos and some special bride and groom portraits and soon we were inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches.

I stayed on into the evening to cover the partying and finished with some twilight shots of the happy couple before leaving the party.
