Wedding photography – Windmill Village – Coventry
Mary-Kate and Sam’s wedding at Christ the King Church and Windmill Village hotel
Wedding photography – Windmill Village is a nice local wedding venue for me and a pleasure to be covering this one as I know the happy bride and groom. A Coventry wedding with a church wedding at Christ the King, before taking the short drive over to the Windmill Village Hotel on the A45.
County Coundon for the preparations with both Mary-Kate and Sam who was just down the road. Mary-Kate prepared at her parents with her bridesmaids and was in good spirits with a few bubbles flowing. It was great to see my two nieces as flower girls too who were very excited.
A lovely church ceremony at CTK and a little confetti throwing and we soon headed off to celebrate at the Windmill Village. I covered the group photos quickly and captured lots of candid shots of guests. Some special bride and groom signature portraits and soo we were in for the wedding breakfast and speeches. A cloudy day, and even a bit of rain later on, but it was the perfect light and so we made the most of it.
The party kicked off with their first dance and some Irish dancing thrown in. A proper knees-up was had.
Thank you, Mary-Kate and Sam, for having me cover your special day. A cracking wedding!

Planning your wedding at the Windmill Village Hotel?
There is so much to consider when planning your special day. Once you have booked your venue, it’s important to search for key suppliers. Ideally, start by searching for a wedding photographer in the area. Most venues have recommended suppliers and hold a wedding fayre a couple of times a year so, you can find other suppliers too. Meeting with the photographer is really helpful to establish a connection before your wedding day. I have a meeting room with lots of my storybook albums and wall art for couples to browse over.
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer for your special day, feel free to browse through lots of my posts on my blog with real weddings to help you understand my natural style of documenting a wedding along with some beautiful portraits of the couple.
